1. Overview
Repfolio is a fitness logging app that provides workout set logging, a rest timer, RIR input, progress tracking, and workout plan suggestions. This policy explains the information Repfolio handles and the purposes for which it is used.
Repfolio is not intended for medical decisions, diagnosis, treatment, or injury assessment. If you have pain, feel unwell, or have a pre-existing condition, stop exercising and consult a professional as needed.
2. Information We Handle
Information you enter or that is generated in the app: profile settings, training goals, body weight, workout exercises, sets, weight, reps, RIR, notes on pain and form, rest times, training dates, app settings, notification status, usage information, ad consent status, and crash diagnostic information.
Information stored on your device: The records and settings above are stored in a database on your device. Your display name is also saved on the server so it can be restored with your records (below).
Information stored on the server: The following information is also stored on the Supabase servers that Repfolio uses.
- Completed workout records (date and time, exercises, weight, reps and RIR for each set, notes on pain and form, body weight at the time of the set, and so on). The purpose is to let you restore your records after changing devices or reinstalling the app.
- Part of your settings (display name, training goal, body weight, and various on/off settings). The purpose is to save you from entering your settings again when you restore your records.
- Account identifiers: an anonymous ID created automatically when you first use the app and, if you sign in with Apple, an identifier corresponding to that Apple Account. We do not ask for your name or email address.
- The date you started using the app. If, in the future, a limit is placed on the period during which records can be created, this date will be used to identify users who started before then.
Body weight and notes on pain and form include health-related information. We use them only for the purposes above and do not provide them to third parties for advertising or analytics.
3. How We Use Information
This information is used to save and restore workout records, show progress, run the rest timer, send notifications, suggest workout plans, improve the app, investigate bugs, maintain security, and respond to inquiries.
4. Sending Data to AI Services
Repfolio does not send the content of your records to external AI services. The workout plan suggestions in the chat on the Home screen and the character's short comments are created from calculations within the app and from text prepared in advance.
5. Accounts and Sign in with Apple
You can start using Repfolio without registering. When you do, an anonymous account is automatically created on the server.
If you sign in with Apple in "Transfer Records", that anonymous account is linked to your Apple Account. This lets you sign in with the same Apple Account on another device or after reinstalling the app, and restore your records.
If you do not sign in with Apple and you lose your device or delete the app, there will be no way to access your records on the server again.
6. Purchases and Subscriptions
Repfolio currently has no paid plans and no in-app purchases. Repfolio does not receive payment information or purchase status.
If we start a paid plan in the future, we will update this page before it starts and describe the service used to manage purchase status and the information provided to it.
7. Ads and Consent
When you readjust your workout plan in the chat on the Home screen, Repfolio may use rewarded ads from Google Mobile Ads / AdMob and consent management through Google User Messaging Platform. We do not show banner ads, interstitial ads, app open ads, or native ads.
The app is designed not to pass workout content, details of pain or health conditions, exercises, or free-text entries to ad requests or ad reward verification for ad targeting purposes.
The ad SDK may handle device information, advertising identifiers, approximate location, ad interaction information, and similar data for ad delivery, consent management, fraud prevention, and measurement.
8. Analytics and Diagnostics
Analytics by PostHog and crash diagnostics by Sentry are used only when they are configured. Analytics events and crash information are designed to be processed so that they do not send the content of your records, free-text entries, or details of pain or health conditions. PostHog analytics data is processed on PostHog's servers in the United States.
9. Third-Party Services
To the extent necessary to provide the app, Repfolio may use Supabase (server and database), Apple (Sign in with Apple), Google Mobile Ads / AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform (ads and consent), PostHog (analytics), Sentry (crash diagnostics), Expo / EAS (app distribution), and Firebase Hosting (hosting this page).
10. Retention and Deletion
Deleting in the app: You can delete your account yourself at any time from "Delete Account" in Settings. This is available even if you have not signed in with Apple. Deleting removes the following:
- Your account on the server and the workout records, settings, and start date linked to it.
- The workout records and settings on this device.
Deletion cannot be undone.
What remains after deletion:
- Information included in server backups. Backups are deleted after a certain period.
Data on your device: If you delete the app, the data on your device is deleted.
11. Children
Repfolio is not intended for children under 13.
12. Changes
This policy will be updated as necessary. If there are important changes, we will notify you in the app or on this page.
